Our Corporate Control. Planning & Reporting team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU!
We are looking for a Corporate/Financial Controller with a solid background in Power BI and further IT tools to support the Financial Controlling community on its continuing journey in developing its digital capacities.
Your tasks:
- Analysis of financial performance at group level to support executive management in actual and planning processes, identification of key drivers of deviations, and creation of decision proposals, especially with the focus on investments.
- Using your financial know-how to give positive impulses to the business units by ad-hoc analysis
- Analysis and optimization of existing IT systems in the finance and controlling sector (e.g. Tagetik, Power BI) driven by the business perspective of Financial Controlling.
- Drive the further development of our self-service reporting and Dashboarding platform.
- Contribute to further conceptual development and improvement of the controlling systems and processes to automate and integrate further in strong interaction via cross-Team work and communities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate advanced analytical tools and software into financial reporting systems.
- Conduct data analysis, explore trends and relationships also in unstructured data.
- Active change management in times of transformation of financial functions.
- Very good university degree in the field of finance or business informatics with a specialization in either controlling, finance and / or accounting or relevant IT aspects and experience in applying IT to enable finance.
- Competence to reduce complexity and the understandable presentation of the main drivers of the key financial indicators with a high level of customer orientation.
- Skills and interest in a well-founded analysis of key financial figures.
- Willingness to engage in unstructured data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Capability to derive insights and actionable recommendations from data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sound knowledge of ERP & consolidation systems (e.g. SAP FI/CO, Tagetik).
- Advanced expertise in Power BI.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role is a plus.
- Good communication and presentation skills as well as ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High degree of self-organization, commitment, initiative, ability to work in a team, energy, flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to achieve challenging goals.
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
