Future-oriented Grid Solutions: As part of a diverse, multinational team, you drive RD&I activities within E.ON's distribution grids to advance new solutions for the success of the energy transition, with a special focus on future challenges of power system stability

Impact Assessment & Strategy: You assess the technical impact of current developments (e.g. technological advances, changes in legislation) on E.ON's grids and derive strategic needs for action in close alignment with relevant internal stakeholders such as regulatory experts

Strategic Representation: You coordinate positions you have developed within E.ON and represent them at board and management level, as well as in national and international associations

Cross-functional Leadership: You lead and manage cross-functional teams to initiate and steer RD&I activities in areas such as grid operation or improved integration of renewables as part of the wider E.ON Energy Networks community

Business-Driven Approach: In your day-to-day work, you always start from a business need perspective and align with respective business counterparts on possible solutions and actions

Stakeholder Relationship Management: A key part of your role is to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across E.ON, up to senior management level, by leveraging your high visibility and central position in the group
A convincing background

You have a master's degree in electrical or industrial engineering or a comparable field of study

You offer solid expertise in system resilience and system stability of distribution grids with a high share of distributed renewable energy sources

You possess in-depth knowledge about the interaction of energy systems and energy markets as well as the interaction between DSOs and TSOs

You have the ability to break down highly complex technical subjects into a target group-oriented communication that considers the interests and backgrounds of the respective stakeholders

You have strong analytical skills, think strategically, have an open mindset and the proven capability to drive change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment

You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convince people

You are an excellent communicator with the ability to understand complex arguments, engage with stakeholders, influence and explain challenging decisions and new opportunities

You are fluent in German and English, with additional relevant languages being an advantage
