Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG employs around 10,000 people and specializes in financial and mobility services. Its offerings include financing, leasing, vehicle subscriptions and rentals, fleet management, digital services related to charging and payment, insurance brokerage, and innovative mobility services.
This year as well, Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG will focus on the five strategic dimensions of MBM 2025, one of which is Electrify our future. On the path to becoming “electric only,” charging is a critical factor. We aim to make charging with Mercedes-Benz a distinct customer experience. To quickly build this comprehensive charging ecosystem, we have established a Charging Unit within Mercedes-Benz Mobility, consisting of three pillars: public charging, home charging, and charging in the business context.
Our team is responsible for the public charging service MB.CHARGE Public. It is seamlessly integrated into the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem of vehicles and apps, enabling customers to find charging stations, authenticate, pay digitally, and track charging processes. As the product management team, we assume end-to-end responsibility for developing and improving the product. To this end, we work closely with teams and departments within the Charging Unit, as well as with colleagues from sales, development, and IT.
During your internship, you will support the development and implementation of our innovative charging service and lead your own sub-projects. You will gain insight into product strategy, the design of product features and user journeys, and close collaboration with research and development teams. This provides you with hands-on experience of the tasks and challenges faced by a product management team and gives you the opportunity to expand your personal network. One of the most important expectations we have of you as an intern is your willingness to contribute and drive your own ideas forward. You will be supported and mentored by an experienced team member.
In this role, you will:

Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities for MB.CHARGE Public, taking into account market specifics for Europe, North America, and Overseas

Collaborate closely with regional markets and key account managers and maintain ongoing communication with them

Independently analyze global market trends in electromobility, assess competitors, and create benchmarking to identify strategic opportunities for MB.CHARGE Public

Prepare strategic decision-making documents, data analyses, and briefings for top management

Moderate workshops and management meetings, and assist with general team tasks
- You are currently enrolled in a degree program in business, management and engineering, marketing, or a related field
- You have experience with digital products or services, preferably customer-facing
- You are a person who enjoys taking responsibility and approaches new challenges with self-motivation
- You are fluent in both German and English
- You have a strong interest in charging, e-mobility, energy supply, and are passionate about the future of mobility
