- Develop cutting-edge optical metrology systems for scientific and industrial applications
- Perform hands-on experimental research in quantum optics and photonic technologies
- Advance state-of-the-art calibration methods through innovative instrumentation
- Work closely with international partners in collaborative R&D projects
- Present findings at conferences and publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to the scientific and technological progress in precision measurement
- Master of Science degree in a technical field, preferably optical physics or engineering, with eligibility for PhD enrollment at German universities (3-year PhD project)
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Independent, proactive working style with high commitment and motivation
- Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel, including extended research stays at partner institutions
