In our Dresden ASIC development center, we develop ASICs for different fields in the consumer electronics world. Your responsibility will be the modelling and verification of Mixed-Signal or System-on-chip ASICs for consumer applications.

Job description:

  • Create something new: You work in interdisciplinary teams and develop mixed-signal testbenches, model analog circuits, create verification plans and assure functional and toggle coverages
  • Reliable implementation: You help to ensure the "First Time Right” IC designs by doing verification on different abstraction levels e.g. on ASIC top and block level (model and transistor level)
  • Think holistically: You understand design requirements, block level specifications and circuit documentation and design in accordance; for this, you collaborate closely with the analog, digital and digital verification teams
  • Networked communication: You work in an international and globally distributed team of experts
  • Conscientious coordination: You support us in continuously improving our mixed-signal verification methodology

  • Personality: High level of enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Working Practice: Effective team player with focused and independent working style
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of industry experience or a fitting PhD are mandatory; high expertise in analog modeling styles (real number modeling, VerilogA) and abstraction, high expertise in verification methodologies and strategies, knowledge of UVM and Specman-e is a plus, advanced understanding of analog circuit design (concepts, design trade-offs, transistor-level know-how)
  • Languages: Proficient English; advanced German language skills beneficial
  • Education: Degree (Dipl.-Ing./ M.Sc.) of electrical engineering or equivalent with good results; PhD candidates are welcome to apply
