Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly motivated
Engineer Programmer (m/f/d)
based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area) and willingness to travel.
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects;
- Monitoring compliance to applicable regulations, rules, practices, safety and quality policies, performance standards and specifications;
- Frequently interacting with internal clients and suppliers as the need arises;
- Monitoring and coordinating of project progress;
- Support of production sites regarding production and processing problems;
- Optimization of processing and quality items;
- Standardization of processes and equipment;
- Sharing of best practices within the organization;
- Inspection, programming overhaul and commissioning of used equipment;
- Direct contact with suppliers for project related items;
- Close collaboration with mechanical engineering and plant maintenance;
- Traveling within Mauser facilities worldwide;
- Know how transfer to others within Mauser.
- Engineering or comparable degree and several years of professional experience;
- Software and programming proficiency;
- Several years of programming production machines;
- Specific knowledge in programming of steel drum production equipment, cage lines for IBCs and in blow moulding processes and equipment is welcome;
- Complex problem-solving skills and methodical mind;
- Strong interest in technology;
- Familiarity with machine safety regulations;
- Project Management and supervision skills;
- Time management and organizational skills;
- Result orientated mind set;
- English proficiency;
- Hands-on mentality, practice-based learning, interpersonal and good communication skills;
- Willingness to travel regularly.
