ENERPARC AG is an internationally successful specialist in the whole value chain of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the megawatt segment. The company was founded beginning 2009 and has more than 350 professional, internationally experienced employees. As pioneers of this industry, the Enerparc team is specialized in project development, installation as well as in the investment and operation of solar power plants and has offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, Bordeaux, Sydney and Bangalore. Our services range from the technical design, turnkey delivery (EPC) to the operation and maintenance (O&M) of PV power plants.

Sunnic is the 100% subsidiary of ENERPARC AG and responsible for the electricity marketing of the Enerparc electricity portfolio as well as other renewable electricity producers. With a team of 34 employees from different areas, we are active in exchange-based electricity trading and electricity marketing.


  • Establish standardized risk reporting and monitor compliance with the risk mandate structure (credit, market and operational risk)
  • Define and monitor limits and the algorithmic trading activities
  • Support employees in the calculation and monitor key risk figures for our trading activities (e.g. mark-to-market, commodity risks, value at risk)
  • Support other teams with quantitative analysis required for hedging strategies and investment decisions
  • Perform stress tests and scenario analyses to assess extreme scenarios and their impact on our portfolio
  • Review valuation methods as well as book and limit structures to derive suggestions for improvement and ensure transparency
  • Support the validation process for complex business cases in various IT systems
  • Support further development of a process-oriented internal control system
  • Elaborate a quantitative and qualitative description of desk performance and the market risks for the management
  • Establish a close relationship with the front office to ensure a mutual and comprehensive understanding of profit, loss and risk measures

  • Degree in economics, mathematics, physics, engineering, finance or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in risk controlling or risk management, ideally in energy trading, commodity trading or the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of calculating risk metrics such as VaR, Sharpe-Ratio, sensitivities and scenario analysis as well as an interest in the energy market and financial markets
  • Experience in monitoring credit and liquidity risks, especially in the context of energy trading
  • Analytical and structured way of working and high affinity for numbers
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, experience with risk management software and database systems desirable
  • Good knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Team orientation, strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative
