AxynTeC is a professional thin-film coating solutions provider based in Augsburg, Germany and has a strong track record in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With its innovative process technology plasmaIMPAX, AxynTeC has successfully mastered the art of DLC coatings, providing solutions for customers in the industrial, decorative and medical industries. On top of coating services, AxynTeC also has strong expertise in pulsed laser deposition, and provides services such as contract manufacturing, engineering development and supply of coating equipment.

By integrating AxynTeC into our Advanced Materials Business Unit (AMBU), it expands Nanofilm's solutions portfolio with DLC expertise, and providing a platform in Europe to offer our unique solutions to the customers in that region and accelerate our growth.


  • Daily HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR tasks, including payroll, employee inquiries, documentation, and benefits administration, ensuring smooth HR operations across all locations.

  • Harmonize HR Processes & Follow Group Policy: Standardize and align HR policies and procedures across the locations and newly acquired entities to ensure consistency and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with the company's group policies.

  • Employee Relations & Support: Address employee concerns, provide guidance, and assist with conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.

  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Manage recruitment processes and retention strategies, particularly focusing on integrating employees from newly acquired entities.

  • Performance Management: Support managers in performance reviews, and feedback to drive employee development and engagement.

  • Compliance & Legal Oversight: Ensure adherence to German labor laws and company policies, addressing any legal or regulatory updates as necessary.

  • Training & Development: Coordinate training initiatives and onboarding for new hires, especially from acquired entities, to support smooth integration.

  • Change Management & Communication: Facilitate clear communication of HR policies and updates, especially during the integration process, to ensure transparency across the organization.


  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an HR generalist or operations role, with significant experience in managing day-to-day HR operations across multiple sites and entities.

  • Proven ability to manage and streamline HR functions, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions or organizational changes.

  • Strong understanding of German labor laws and HR best practices, particularly in managing employee relations and compliance.

  • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple daily HR tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently and manage HR operations proactively.

  • Leadership potential with a desire to grow into a team-leading role in the future.

  • Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with an understanding of the unique HR needs in these sector.
