We are seeking a Senior Supply & Demand Manager (m/f/d) to join our DACH & Rest of World (ROW) Supply Chain, BtG team. This strategic role is key to aligning our customer demand signals with our supply capabilities, ensuring the reliable distribution of our vaccines from manufacturing sites to our customers across these regions. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in maximizing business growth, driving sales, and ensuring the efficient and timely execution of supply plans.
This position can be based either in Germany or Switzerland, offering flexibility within these key locations.
In this role, you will create an integrated and aligned process between global operations and regional markets, focusing on demand generation, supply chain risk management, and the smooth integration of regional plans into the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will work closely with multiple functions including commercial, finance, and global supply planning, contributing to both the tactical and strategic elements of supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Regional S&OP Process: Establish and lead the DACH/ROW/BtG Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring its alignment and integration into the global S&OP framework
- Demand Forecasting: Generate unbiased and unconstrained market customer demand forecasts for each region, collaborating closely with commercial and finance teams to ensure accuracy
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Implement a regional demand risk and opportunity process to maximize business outcomes, identifying risks and aligning with supply plans
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs for demand management (e.g., forecast bias and accuracy), and work with stakeholders to define corrective actions and improve forecasting performance
- Supply Issue Management: Proactively manage and resolve supply issues, ensuring timely and effective communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Inventory Management: Ensure efficient inventory control, meeting safety stock targets and avoiding low stock or overstock situations. Monitor inventory KPIs to ensure compliance with safety stock requirements
- Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with Global Supply Planning to provide market insights and collaborate on creating optimal supply plans for market SKUs
- KPI Achievement: Ensure on-time, in full delivery of vaccines, and contribute towards achieving optimal P&L results for the DACH and ROW regions
- Continuous Improvement: Drive regional demand and supply-related continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to global and regional projects for long-term growth

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in demand generation, supply chain management, and planning
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the vaccine, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries
- Expertise in forecast generation, demand management, supply chain optimization, and ERP systems
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think and act strategically, with a strong understanding of both regional and global supply chain processes
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple functions
- Operational Excellence: Proven experience in demand management, change management, and operational excellence
- Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues, with a strong ability to manage risk and drive solutions
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial principles, especially as they relate to supply chain operations and P&L management
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and establish relationships with key stakeholders, driving alignment across commercial, finance, and operations teams
