To strengthen our team, we are offering the following permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) at Hamburg HQ or remote at the earliest possible date:
Sales Manager / Key Account Manager (m/f/x)
The Sales Manager Mass Market Germany works closely together with the Director Sales Northern & Eastern Europe and the second Sales Manager Mass Market Germany to further grow Yogi's market position in the domestic market. The position is responsible for strategic decision making on market and headquarters level embedded into the global Yogi strategy. The position holder carries responsibility for the calculation of all items, the trade and sales budget appointed to the markets and is expected to act in an autonomous way alongside with guidance from the Sales Director of the region.
- Ensure an attractive selection of Yogi Teas is available on the shelves for our contributors, along with outstanding secondary placements at our retail partners, with a focus on REWE and EDEKA
- Drive sustainable growth of the Yogi brand in the German mass market and discount retail sector
- Take the lead in developing and executing impactful sales initiatives and promotions in collaboration with our professional and ambitious team at the Hamburg headquarters
- Independently oversee and adapt the Yogi sales strategy in alignment with our policies to ensure profitable growth
- Act as an eye-level counterpart and service provider for our customers at both regional and national levels Identify and pursue growth opportunities with regional REWE and EDEKA entities, trade partners, wholesalers, and multi-branch companies
- Identify and address white spots while implementing effective countermeasures in case of plan deviations
- Finalized business studies or equivalent education (e.g. Bachelor or Master/Diploma)
- Experience of 3-4 years in Key Account Management in FMCG/Food & Beverages industry
- Customer experience with either Edeka or Rewe preferably
- A good network within German FMCG trade and its decision makers would be a plus
- An engaged team-player with high level of flexibility and self-reliance
- Highly developed communication skills & empathetic personality
- Experienced to work with figures, have a quick understanding of interrelations
- Excellent knowledge of German and fluent in business English spoken and written
- Frequent travelling within Germany required
- IT-skilled in all standard MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word and Power Point
- CV in English
