We have recently started an exciting ERP transformation programme and are replacing our existing HR, Financials and Procurement system landscape across all of our six sites with Workday. We have just gone live with Workday HCM (Human Capital Management). The next phase of the transformation will encompass Financials and Procurement. By standardising and digitalising our tools and processes, we want to optimise our financial and procurement processes.
As an Inhouse Procurement Workday Consultant you are part of the internal ERP team. You will be responsible for
- Continuous development of the Workday Procurement Suite
- You will work very closely with the specialist colleagues in Purchasing, as well as with the EMBL project team and that of the implementation partner during the next implementation phases and rollout.
- Following the roll out you will be responsible for liaising with the Purchase colleagues, the EMBL IT teams and the Workday Support Team and deliver technical configuration support and coordinating the bi-annual system upgrades.
- You will also be providing conceptual support for the integration of external procurement platforms to the Workday system.
You will play a key role in the implementation & later support of the Workday Procurement Suite.
As part of the ERP Team, you are liaising closely with the Purchase Section and the Workday project team members for support & further development of the Workday Procurement Suite including:
- Liaising with Purchase Section about business requirements aligning with the Procurement Strategy
- Implementing further changes including technical design, configuration, testing and cutover
- Conceptual support for integration between Workday and various upstream & downstream systems
- As a Workday expert in the Procurement field, you are responsible for establishing knowledge management within the team and supporting with the training of your colleagues
- Delivering key conceptual expertise to IT Procurement application projects & integration of various B2B platforms
- Liaising with third party consultants and internal stakeholders
- Investigating and resolving Workday Procurement issues on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinate the bi-annual Workday system updates
Workday Competencies
- In depth understanding of Workday Procurement data model, security, business processes and reporting: At least 3 years experience in supporting Workday Procurement Modules.
- You have a solid cross module understanding to Financials
- Ability to support and coordinate Workday releases and associated testing and training activities

You might also have
- Experience with Workday EIB would be an added advantage
- German language skills are not mandatory but beneficial
