- You act as the "extended arm" of the Corporate Data Protection Officer and execute data protection tasks locally.
- You implement and monitor global data protection standards, processes, and strategies in your assigned region.
- You ensure data protection incident management and conduct both internal and external audits.
- You work closely with other Data Protection Officers and inform the Corporate Data Protection Officer.
- You develop regional data protection e-learnings and act as the contact person for supervisory authorities in your region, if required.
- University degree in Data Protection, Information Security, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar position, ideally in an international environment
- In-depth knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection regulations
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to report clearly and precisely
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the assigned region
