We are currently looking for a Nacelle materials expeditor that will be part of an international and multicultural team. It is a global role to support the Nacelle Operations, the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Nacelle plants in different continents, and the Nacelle Module assembly plants as well, as the DD Generators. You will be managing material shortage risks at those plants

- Establish rapid response teams in case of critical material shortages
- Identify alternative supply sources and alternative materials
- Support the revision of Nacelle production schedules
- Continuous feed-back about status and progress
- Run root cause analysis to identify patterns and improve the process
- Develop early warning communication system and a proactive risk management approach
- Strengthen supplier relations incl. communication, data sharing and reliability
- Visit supplier factories to follow up delivery status when required, and run root cause analysis
- Establish external expeditors in non-reliable suppliers to stabilize deliveries
- Travel Requirement: Up to 40%

- You hold a degree in engineering, production technology, logistics or similar
- Experience in managing suppliers
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Supply Chain environment
- You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview
- You can work both independently as well as in teams and have a flair for effective communication
- You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing
- A knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus but not required
