Data Quality Improvement
- Analyse data for regulatory reporting to identify data quality issues and propose related enhancements to increase reliability of data
- Review and optimize existing processes to ensure transparency, traceability, and accuracy of regulatory data across the organization
- Ensure seamless integration of new regulatory requirements into existing regulatory reporting landscape
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across regulatory reporting systems
Analytical Tasks:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of data-related issues to identify root causes
- Define and implement controls to identify data quality issues in an early stage
- Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and compliance
Daily Operations Support
- Investigate and resolve errors occurring in daily processes
- Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address weaknesses and optimize processes
Regulatory Guidance
- Provide regulatory advice to support business initiatives, projects and approval of new trading products
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on existing processes
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain documentation
- Support various regulatory projects and participate in industry discussions with peers to enhance knowledge and prioritize topics that bring greater value and importance to the organization
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely within a multinational team, collaborating with various departments across the organization and engaging with external stakeholders
- Facilitate knowledge sharing via proper documentation and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
- Communicate regulatory insights and updates to stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of energy trading, including traded products, markets, and portfolio structures
- Extensive understanding of transactional reporting processes, ideally within compliance or regulatory domains
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with key financial regulations such as EMIR, REMIT, MiFID, MAR, etc. related frameworks
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner, tailored to various audiences
- Strong initiative, high commitment, and motivation to excel in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI is considered as strong advantage
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is advantageous
