As our Packaging Expert Recycled Plastics, you'll be our go-to resource for technical guidance on PCR materials and packaging processes. Your input will drive successful project outcomes for brand partners, shape our platform's development, and ensure that we deliver the right recycled plastics for our clients applications.


  • Technical Sales Support (Input & Coordination)
    • Make experience-based recommendations for brands looking to implement PCR plastics
    • Advise on mechanical properties, substances, colour, and compliance for rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, rPP, and other materials
    • Communicate possible “what if” scenarios for different conversion methods (blowing, injection, forming
  • Client Project Coordination
    • Collect demand and technical requirements from clients, ensuring clear, concise documentation
    • Evaluate material and supply options, identifying the best fit for each use case
    • Identify lab test requirements and coordinate with suppliers and labs for testing methods
    • Determine sample needs: type of resin, sample format (resin, plates, bottles, closures), quantities, timing, and delivery
    • Manage compliance documentation (declarations, lab results) and share data packages with relevant stakeholders
    • Provide end-to-end qualification support, troubleshooting issues and bridging gaps between brand technical teams and supplier
  • Platform Development
    • Be the voice of material and technical insights in the design and functionality of the Resycure digital platform
    • Suggest improvements that streamline how brands and suppliers connect, qualify materials, and manage documentation

  • Ideally hold a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience working in packaging at a brand or converter
  • Practical experience with packaging conversion processes (blow moulding, injection moulding, thermoforming, etc.)
  • Familiarity with how different material properties align (or clash) with specific packaging formats like bottles, jars, pouches, films, trays, and closures
  • Understanding of technical specifications for PCR materials (rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, rPP), including compliance requirements and colour considerations
  • Experience with compliance and testing documentation and procedures
  • Practical experience in end-to-end packaging qualification and delivering high standards in technical projects
  • Market awareness of trends, developments, and upcoming regulatory changes in packaging and sustainability
  • Structured, organised, and thorough, with a willingness to learn quickly and communicate clearly
