At Statista, customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will optimize the Retention & Growth phases of the customer journey, driving engagement, loyalty, and upsell opportunities through data-driven communication strategies. Your initiatives will strengthen customer relationships, reduce churn, and maximize long-term value.

  • Develop a personalized tech touch customer lifecycle, using segmentation and various communication channels (e.g. email, in-app messaging, newsletters, etc.) to drive retention and upsell opportunities.

  • Optimize the customer journey by identifying key touch points and implementing targeted communication measures.

  • Build and nurture a customer community by fostering engagement through forums, events, and encouraging knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer support, and user-generated content while establishing structured feedback loops to improve the customer experience.

  • Analyze customer behavior and gather customer feedback to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Measure and report on campaign performance, using key retention and growth metrics to refine strategies


  • More than 3 years of experience in customer retention, loyalty programs, community management or customer experience management
  • Previous working experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proficiency in Customer Engagement tools like Braze, is nice to have
  • Analytical skills and strong understanding of the customer journey
  • Fluent in English & German
