Become part of our growing Quality Control Department in Martinsried/Munich!

The local QC department consists of about 65 colleagues who, together with our teams situated in Denmark and Switzerland, form an important part of our quality organization. With your team, you will release test clinical trial materials as well as our commercial products.

With a growing product portfolio that revolves around vaccines, you will also get the chance to contribute to the design and implementation of new methods and procedures along with our research department.

At Bavarian Nordic, we are dedicated to improving lives through innovative vaccines for smallpox, mpox, rabies, tick-borne encephalitis, typhoid fever, and cholera. We are seeking a Head of Global Planning to lead our Global Supply Chain and Strategy organization. Your responsibilities include:

  • Release testing of vaccines (e.g. ELISA, Gyrolab)
  • Assay development
  • Standard cell culture techniques, including preparation of primary cells (e.g. chicken embryo fibroblasts)
  • Work under GMP
  • Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and good documentation practice

Succeeding with our vision of becoming one of the largest pure play vaccine companies in the world is no walk in the park, and that is why we need people like you who are determined to make it happen and have the following qualifications:

  • Qualification as BTA, MTA, CTA or PTA or an equivalent
  • Experience in immunological assays (e.g. ELISAs) preferable
  • Experience in cell culture preferable
  • Good knowledge of standard computer programs (MS Office)
  • Good documentation and communication skills in English and German
  • Enjoy working in an extensive, international team and structures as well as precise work ethic
