We are looking for a motivated Working Student Strategy & Investments to join our team in Munich.


  • Analyze market developments by researching AI applications, tech advancements, digital
    business models, and monitoring competitors.
  • Support our investment strategy by researching potential investments, evaluating market opportunities, and supporting due diligence processes.
  • Assist in strategic projects related to AI, innovation, and business transformation across Holtzbrinck's portfolio companies.
  • Prepare Excel analyses and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and investment teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess AI-driven initiatives and their potential impact on business growth.
  • Work in an international environment, with teams across Europe, the US, and Asia.
  • Support decision-making processes by contributing to reports, strategy documents, and investment briefs.

  • Education: Final-year Bachelor´s or Master´s student in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • AI & Digital Transformation: Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and their business impact.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong data interpretation skills with problem-solving mindset and a basic understanding of financial concepts.
  • Teamwork & Independence: Experience in interdisciplinary teams; ability to work autonomously and adapt to evolving challenges.
  • Industry Exposure: Experience or academic focus on digital media, publishing, or science is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
