With its Airfreight eCommerce division, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is about to step into the cross-border eCommerce direct-to-consumer (B2C) logistics market, as the biggest growing sector in Airfreight globally. Cross-border eCommerce is far from saturation and will likely stabilize as a third of total air cargo volumes by 2027+. The direct-to-consumer market will be tackled by offering a door-2-door product, including B2C customs clearance, last-mile-delivery and a returns solutions. » Your Tasks:
- You are responsible for market and trend analysis
- You design products (time to market, market placement, regional focus, pricing, USPs, internal and external storyline, SLAs and integration in operations & IT)
- You set up the operational framework, including sales, accounting, operations, controlling, HR, IT, and purchasing
- You plan and implement rollouts (project planning & timeline, implementation of campaigns, roadshows, monitoring)
- You hand over to the line organization including enablement and support
- You support sales including customer visits and customer acquisition
- You monitor quality and results
- You initiate measures in case of deviation from plan or SOP
- You conduct continuous market analysis
- You report on project status and pipeline
- You create detailed project charters
- You make decisions and prepare board submissions
» Your Profile:
- You have several years of experience in the field of Business Development
- You have project management skills
- You have experience in the preparation of business plans/cases
- You possess eCommerce logistics expertise
- You have process management skills.
- You have customs expertise
- You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel at an expert level
- You can map processes via tool/software
- You speak English fluently and at a professional level
