neuroloop® is a subsidiary of Aesculap AG and was founded as a spin-off of the University of Freiburg and the Freiburg University Hospital. Based in Freiburg, our company is developing a platform to stimulate the vagus nerve for the treatment of chronic diseases in connection with autonomous body functions. The core platform is a multichannel cuff electrode based on thin film technology. The platform allows for selective stimulation of specific nerve fibres. The company's first product, the baroloop® stimulator, is specifically designed for the treatment of high blood pressure. With a main focus on providing excellent clinical effectiveness, minimizing risks and side effects for the patient and providing a simple and safe product, the company strives to advance the treatment of high blood pressure.
- Join the software development team and collaborate closely with the data analysis team
- Develop and manage cloud solutions utilized by our data analytics team
- Analyze data from our devices to enhance therapy and create new revenue streams
- Maintain and improve existing software production and testing pipelines
- Develop and enhance IoT devices connected to the cloud
- Contribute to the development of baroloop® and future generations of neurostimulators, as well as cloud-based healthcare services
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Experience in developing and architecting secure cloud applications, ideally in Azure
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
- Skills in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in Python
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
- Knowledge of automated test procedures, Databricks, Delta Live Tables, Rust, IoT device integration, and skills in Linux and Yocto are advantageous
