For our dynamically growing, innovative Cellular Therapy and Hematology team within an already established leading generic international pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a market access professional who will be engaged in all aspects of the business and development of our products within the global market access Team. For our upcoming launches (ATMP) in the disease area of graft versus host disease, you will be responsible for driving the EU-HTA process / Joint Clinical Assessment with all steps of the EU Joint Clinical Assessment (EU HTA), like early advice preparation, dossier realization, assessment analysis, etc. This includes evidence collection as well as the incorporation of market access relevant elements into the clinical development program, the development of pricing strategies and the launch of sequences for new products.
At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Market Access Manager – EU HTA / JCA (m/f/d).
Major tasks and responsibilities
- Develop an EU-JCA strategy and engagement plan for medac's upcoming innovative launches in cellular therapies and hematology
- Drive PICO identification with the support of medac's in-country market access managers and external vendor support
- Ensure adaptation of global value dossier and health economic evidence to meet EU-JCA requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Interact with HTA agencies to defend EU-JCA submissions
- Drive the Joint Scientific Consultation (JSC) process for medac's innovative products
General market access responsibilities
- Provide strategic input into key clinical and medical activities
- Participate in due diligence to critically assess product concepts in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders
- Gather and analyze information on competitor products, pricing strategies, market positioning, and market access tactics to inform the market access strategy
- Track, collect and synthesize health economic data, outcomes research, and real-world evidence
- Compile the early and in-market global access and pricing strategy and sequence for approval by senior leadership
- Develop and update market access input into the lifecycle product strategy
- Academic degree in health economics, economics or natural sciences
- Several years of professional experience in a market access consultancy or in a market access role in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience and proven track record in managing, creating, submitting and defending dossier projects and health economic evidence towards HTA agencies (focus on AMNOG); additional experience in other European markets is a plus
- Thorough understanding of health economic models and evidence
- Team player, openness, and ability to work in a matrix
- Intercultural competence, excellent skills in English and German, excellent project management skills
