Our Procurement team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU!

  • Deep understanding of market & suppliers in the field of engineering services and ability to ensure our external resources available on time & budget
  • Analyze markets & suppliers, develop the procurement strategy, ensure procurement planning and supplier management in close coordination with the business unit managers.
  • Actively manage suppliers strategically to create value for our business, e.g. develop and ensure implementation of supplier engagement plans, identify new suppliers relevant to business strategy, supplier-based innovation, partnerships
  • Responsibility for strategic tendering including specific tender strategies, supplier invitation and selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts, e.g. framework agreements for services
  • Acting as Project Procurement Lead Coordinator (PPLC) as main contact person in Uniper projects for all procurement related topics, close collaboration with other Procurement functions
  • Driving specific initiatives together with the business units (e.g. sustainability, innovation, safety, cost awareness) and leveraging external networks to develop new solutions for Uniper

  • University education in engineering, business administration, economics, comparable education or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years' of experience in procurement for engineering services
  • Profound experience in market analytics & supplier intelligence; to create meaningful reports and decision supporting presentations.
  • Ability to deal convincingly with a wide range of contacts and with conflicting requirements or cross-functional overlaps
  • Good communication skills, project management skills and ability to deal with stakeholders, Knowledge & interest in digitalization & optimization of processes is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent German and English required, knowledge of other languages would be an advantage
