Manager Network Development (m/f/d) Remote
- Evaluate and monitor the financial performance of Condor and Marabu's short-haul network and make recommendations to optimize results for the current and next seasons
- Monitor market demand trends to identify new opportunities for growth
- Identification, evaluation and recommendation of new economically successful flight connections, including management of all necessary steps for the successful introduction of new routes
- Develop long-term 3-5 year strategic plans to inform where Condor and Marabu should grow
- Work closely with scheduling, revenue management, sales, and cargo to ensure commercial success for the short-haul network
- Represent Condor and Marabu network planning at airports, tourism boards and international conferences
- Monitoring tourist demand and competitive developments
- Development and evaluation of planning options for structural improvements and increasing the productivity of the fleet, technology, crew and station to increase overall results
- At least 2 years of professional experience in operational planning, logistics or network management at an airline or a university degree with internship experience working with large amounts of data
- A natural curiosity in aviation or the travel industry
- Must be fluent in English, German language preferred but not required
- Very good computer skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
- A self-starter who can quickly grasp and communicate complex issues
- Strong analytical and data presentation skills
- Independent and result-oriented way of working with a high level of initiative, commitment, resilience and flexibility as well as economic thinking and a sense of responsibility
