ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is a globally applicable and leading certification system designed to enhance traceable, sustainable, deforestation-free, and climate-friendly supply chains. ISCC certifications are widely recognised and cover sustainable agricultural biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, non-biological renewable materials and recycled carbon-based materials. The development and implementation of different certification standards is ISCC's tool to promote its mission to mitigate climate change and bring more traceability into global markets and supply chains. To date, ISCC holds more than 11,300 valid certificates in 129 countries.

  • First point of contact for new certification bodies interested in cooperating with ISCC. This includes providing detailed information on key requirements and procedures for cooperating with ISCC
  • Reviewing and processing applications from new CBs interested in cooperating with ISCC, until the signing of the cooperation agreement
  • Onboarding new CBs following the signing of the cooperation agreement with ISCC through the CB onboarding package via email or virtual call
  • Continuously assessing and updating the requirements and procedures for ISCC cooperation with CBs in line with ISCC regulations and procedures.
  • Participating in revising contract documentation relevant for ISCC cooperation such as accreditations, ISCC Terms of Certification, Declaration of Fulfilment, Cooperation Agreement, etc.
  • Independent assessment and review of CBs and auditors
  • CB communications: sending important communication and notifications to CBs regularly and as necessary
  • CB monitoring setup
  • Managing enquiries by certification bodies via the dedicated mailbox for CBs as well as via phone or virtual meeting as necessary
  • Maintaining and updating the CB data in ISCC database
  • Preparing, organizing and moderating CB feedback meetings with ISCC
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement processes within the company as necessary



  • High level of understanding of CB processes, back office, audits

  • Strong socialising skills / likeability
  • Strong and positive ‘drive' of all stakeholders / CBs
  • Deep analytical skills for recognising weaknesses at an early stage and the associated assertiveness in deriving and implementing the necessary measures
  • High level of solution-orientation and ability to take initiative
  • Strong communication skills / networking skills
  • ability to design and shape processes
  • High level of English and German language skills (written and spoken)
