We're looking for a senior HR professional with a solid mix of local HR expertise for Poland and international exposure working within a matrixed organization. The candidate will be directly responsible for supporting our local teams for all the HR-related topics.
A strong track record of understanding employee relations and influencing through thought leadership, coaching leaders, driving change and transformation and navigating complex structures is required.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the business unit and ensure that high service standards are maintained
- Raise proactive issues with managers; identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues and implement appropriate action plans
- Work closely with HR operations and payroll teams to ensure accuracy in the areas of reporting, compliance, and data management
- Build and implement HR programs and processes to meet both short- and long-term business needs
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including team performance and progressive discipline; assess situations and provide counsel to leaders
- Manage the relationships with local Trade Unions and ensure Circana remains compliant with local regulations
- Partner with the EMEA Talent Acquisition team to develop effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent in Poland.
- Build strong working relationships with Centers of Excellence and HRBP teams globally, leveraging their support to execute on HR strategy to build cohesive people programs to onboard, develop, motivate, and retain Circana talent.
- Participate in or lead HR projects in Europe and participate in Global HR projects
- Partner with the Vertical HRBP Leads and the Global Talent Enablement team to support the talent management process, including workforce planning, performance management, career development, learning and development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Utilize HR metrics, data, and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for the businesses you support
- You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role in an international business
- You have a proven experience in delivering people initiatives in fast changing environments
- You have experience in working in a matrix multi-cultural environment
- You have demonstrated your ability in adapting to change and helping organizations through periods of change
- You have a strong business acumen with the ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
- You are able to influence, advise and coach employees and managers at all levels in the organization
- You have leadership and strong communication skills to influence and convince others
- You are able to demonstrate assertiveness and negotiation skills to deal with challenging situations
- You are self-reliant with a high level of independency and a collaborative way of working
- You have a flexible approach and growth mindset
- You are fluent both Polish and English
