About the role:
You will coordinate the activities of our European subsidiaries in the areas of product stewardship, including compliance with chemical and other product regulations, supply chain communication, advocacy in regulatory development, and represents the product stewardship and regulatory interests of the businesses in Europe. In this position you will advise and harmonize regulatory on European level and coordinates regulatory activities.
  • Focus on future regulatory developments
  • Develop Product Stewardship policy and implementation plans for the preparation and submission of new products together with our global team and implement it in Europe
  • Monitor and report regulatory developments, give guidance to and coordinate activities with our areas of product safety section
  • Develop regulatory strategies and implementation plans for product safety regulations and the preparation and submission of new products in the business
  • Communicate complex regulatory or scientific information to stakeholders with various backgrounds within and outside the company
  • Manage internal audits and incident reporting in our region EMEA
  • Proactively drive processes' improvement to increase added value by increasing efficiency

  • University degree in chemical background or similar
  • Expert knowledge on EU chemical regulations and good understanding on global chemical regulations
  • Several years working experience in regulatory affairs /product safety
  • Good knowledge of legal terminology and understanding of legal texts to conduct basic legal research.
  • Strong change management experience, able to influence and drive and encourage cultural transformation in sustainability topics
  • Experience in communication with authorities
  • Excellent documentation skills including record maintenance/ tracking and understanding of document traceability
  • Affinity towards IT- tools
  • Very good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
  • Intercultural sensitivity, combined with social competence, ability to work in a team.
  • High sense of responsibility and self-motivation
