As the Local IT Services Team Lead, you will:

  • Lead and Manage IT Services: Take full responsibility for the delivery of local and regional IT services, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to service agreements.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate GIS projects and manage IT demands, changes, incidents, and requests to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Service Optimization: Manage and optimize service delivery for IT applications, including change management, releases, and problem management.
  • End-User Support: Act as the first and second-level contact for IT support issues, providing timely solutions and updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and GIS colleagues to ensure services meet business needs, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team, plan work according to priorities, and facilitate team meetings to keep operations smooth and efficient.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with vendors and strategic partners to ensure aligned service delivery.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all services comply with IT security guidelines and IT audit processes.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in workplace or infrastructure management, with strong knowledge of IT security, application management, and service management.
  • Skills & Expertise:
  • ITIL service management knowledge
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in project management (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Experience in vendor management and IT service delivery
  • Familiarity with internal networking and IT infrastructure
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership abilities with a customer-centric, proactive, and results-driven mindset. Experience leading teams without direct reporting lines is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
