We are looking for a Manager of Technical Quality (x|f|m) for the global Quality & Regulatory Compliance CCM department at Sartorius Xell GmbH. In this role, you will lead a team of quality experts and provide guidance on quality control test methods, sterility assurance, qualification, validation and statistics across the network. Together with your team, you will create the future with us. This is a full-time and hybrid position requiring some days on site at Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock with the opportunity to work some days remotely.


  • Managing an international team of quality experts and ensuring the strategic development of your team

  • Supporting business-critical projects (e.g., capacity expansions, new capabilities, product transfers)

  • Ensuring the technical quality processes are consistent with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Providing support on technical quality-related issues to cross-functional teams, including troubleshooting

  • Driving forward process improvements and harmonization of processes

  • Supporting regular audits (local and global) on a technical quality scope


  • Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology)

  • Several years of technical quality experience in life science with a focus on cell culture media (CQV, sterility assurance)

  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment (ISO 9001|ISO 13485|GxP|GMP |21 CFRs |ICH Qs)

  • Proven experience in leading and managing quality teams and projects

  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team

  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel rounds off your profile
