  • Ensure full compliance of import and export activities with all relevant regulations
  • Manage customs and export control classification of products with high accuracy, following Olympus' standards and maintaining proper documentation
  • Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including product managers from various countries
  • Follow all documented processes and actively contribute to their development and optimization
  • Support, initiate and lead customs-related projects in alignment with Olympus' global trade activities
  • Maintain and update SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on classification and customs compliance matters

  • Bachelor's degree, vocational training in commerce or logistics or comparable education
  • Long-standing experience in import/export business and customs compliance within an international company
  • Strong expertise in HTS classification; experience with ECCN classification advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and customs systems
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Very good communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
