- Ensure full compliance of import and export activities with all relevant regulations
- Manage customs and export control classification of products with high accuracy, following Olympus' standards and maintaining proper documentation
- Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including product managers from various countries
- Follow all documented processes and actively contribute to their development and optimization
- Support, initiate and lead customs-related projects in alignment with Olympus' global trade activities
- Maintain and update SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide training and guidance to team members on classification and customs compliance matters
- Bachelor's degree, vocational training in commerce or logistics or comparable education
- Long-standing experience in import/export business and customs compliance within an international company
- Strong expertise in HTS classification; experience with ECCN classification advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and customs systems
- Fluency in German and English
- Very good communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Flexible working hours, remote work possible (up to 60%)
