In this role, we provide investors, financial institutions and companies access to global capital markets.Join our Cash Market Business Development Wholesale team, which manages Deutsche Börse's Xetra offering. The Business Development Manager will work to further expand our Xetra trading business. In your new role you will be responsible for managing the relationship and growing our business with a broad scope of Xetra trading clients based in Europe. You will also work on competivitve analytics of European and global offerings in equity trading and work on initatives for our future Xetra roadmap. - Manage and develop a broad set of client relationships with sell side, buy side and proprietary trading firms
- Actively drive new Xetra initiatives, ensuring comprehensive reflection of client requirements during the conceptual phases as well success of launches
- Promote Deutsche Börse Xetra by attending relevant exhibitions and through orchestrating events such as client workshops
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/ potential customers to create joint partnerships and growth paths
- Market research in US and EMEA equity trading with complementary data-analytics of our cash equity and ETF/ ETP offering
- Develop innovations for our Xetra offering, transform ideas into projects and deliver these into live services
- Create presentations for internal management and external stakeholders
- You have successfully completed your university degree in business studies or a similar field
- You have at least 3 years' experience in financial markets, ideally with exposure to European equities trading and execution
- A strong business development mindset and a proactive approach, with a proven ability to manage client relations effectively and drive innovative solutions
- You have strong industry research capabilities and a solid understanding of market models
- You are a dedicated team player with a cooperative and positive 'can do' attitude
- Full proficiency in English and German with excellent presentation as well as communication skills
