Your Tasks
Your passion is quality, test and automation in mobile APP environments? You are appreciating an environment of flat hierarchies and international cross-functional agile teams? The challenge to provide secure and high quality software for more than 43 Mio active customers thrills you? Then we look forward to getting to know you! You analyse, develop and maintain the test automation for our mobile Mail & Cloud Apps. You will be testing new functionalities for more than 10 million of domestic GMX, WEB.DE, as well as mail.com Android users worldwide.
- You are part of an agile development team and responsible for the test automation of the regression tests for our iOS and Android Apps.
- You implement, enhance and maintain the end-to-end test cases as part of the CI-CD pipeline.
- You define the test automation strategy for the end-to-end tests to improve software testing on system, sub-system, and component level. Together with other team members, you define and execute the test automation strategy.
- As a mentor, you will guide and train the test engineers, develop best practices for test automation and support the agile team in the introduction of new methods and technologies.
- You carry out market analyses, evaluate new tools and technologies and actively drive forward further developments in test automation to increase the efficiency and quality of software tests.
Your Profile
Have you completed a technical degree or comparable work experience? Are you interested in becoming part of a multinational agile team and are keen to make use of new technologies? Are you driven to deliver outstanding apps and features? Are you showing a "hands-on" work attitude? In that case, we're looking to receive your application.
- You have several years of experience in the conception, execution and development of automated tests for native Android or iOS mobile apps.
- You are proficient in frameworks such as Appium, Maestro, Espresso, XCUITest as well as programming languages such as Kotlin or SWIFT and using IDEs like Android Studio or Xcode.
- You worked with continuous integration and deployment practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- You have a proactive working-style and thrive to push projects and make them happen.
- You are a true team player, have strong communication skills and appreciate an agile, interdisciplinary team.
