We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Excellence Community Coordinator to enhance best practice sharing across legal entities and accelerate data acumen within ZEISS. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting data owners (DO) and stewards (DS), facilitating training programmes, and ensuring effective communication between various work streams. In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:

Contribute to the enhancement of best practice sharing across legal entities

Collect and follow up on data-governance related enquiries from our users

Understand and communicate the principles of our products and services through reading materials and training sessions

Conduct regular pulse checks to align with legal entities and identify needs for additional and role-specific training

Co-define new training content and maintain existing materials
-
Monitor and improve data governance practices to enhance overall data acumen.

Organise and independently manage meetings and workshops, ensuring effective participation and engagement

Document meeting minutes and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and progress with the receiving units

Ensure proper acceptance of training programs and materials
-
Monitor and promote a satisfying level of engagement with our technical solutions

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Business Administration, Information Technology)

Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Experience in organising workshops and training sessions
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
-
Proficiency in data visualisation tools and data management software is a plus

Willingness to travel

Excellent English skills
