We're looking for a Quality Engineer. Based at our Gronau, Germany site you will play a key part in supporting, controlling, and inspecting technical processes to ensure a high standard of quality throughout the organisation.

What will your day look like?
As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Quality Control Plans (QCPs): Establish, apply, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans, ensuring they are implemented efficiently and accurately.
Data Analysis: Analyse medium to complex system data to inform decisions and drive precise execution throughout the organisation.
Project Involvement: Participate in the design and implementation phases of projects, ensuring that quality is embedded at every stage.
Continuous Improvement: Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives, using quality data to resolve issues and improve processes.
Lessons Learned: Capture, document, and apply lessons learned from quality-related incidents to avoid recurrence and enhance future performance.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of the latest regulatory requirements and coach internal teams on their application and proper usage.
Audits and Assessments: Conduct and support internal and external audits, evaluations, and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, DIN, BSI, and other relevant standards.
Supplier Quality Management: Perform supplier inspections to ensure that their quality standards align with Urenco's requirements and project expectations.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
Technical Background: A solid foundation in engineering (electrical or mechanical), with a clear understanding of technical business processes.
Standards Expertise: In-depth knowledge of international quality standards, including ISO, ASTM, DIN, and BSI.
