Are you passionate about education and international learning environments? Kühne Logistics University (KLU) is looking for an (experienced) Student Recruitment and Marketing Manager with base in Ho Chi Minh City to support our team in Southeast Asia. Your mission will be clear: convince prospective students to choose KLU and our exceptional study programs in business, management, supply chain management, and data science. Founded in 2010, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) is a private, internationally accredited business school headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, specializing in logistics and supply chain management. We are currently expanding our global footprint to Southeast Asia, where we are establishing KLU's first international branch campus in Vietnam's bussing business and logistics hub, Ho-Chi-Minh-City. In so doing, we follow our mission to contribute to local capacity building and knowledge transfer in the field of logistics, operations and supply chain management. Our programs are designed to prepare leaders for the supply chain challenges of a global business landscape.

As a Student Recruiter, the first point of contact for prospective students in Southeast Asia, building relationships, answering their questions, and helping them envision their future at KLU. Your goal is to convert interest into commitment, guiding students through the decision-making process and ultimately “closing the deal.”
As our Marketing (and Social Media) Manager, you'll have a hands-on role in crafting KLU's voice and digital presence in Vietnam. Working closely with the Communications and Student Recruitment teams, you'll manage campaigns, create engaging content, and foster connections with local and international audiences. You'll bring strong project and process management skills, an innovative mindset, and a passion for education and relations to create meaningful educational experiences for students and corporate customers from Southeast Asia.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Recruitment
- Achieving student intake targets by engaging prospective students through various channels.
- Representing KLU at education fairs, career fairs, and recruitment events in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
- Conducting consultations, organize and coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, and delivering impactful presentations.
- Driving prospective students through the application process—from initial contact to enrollment.
- Writing promotional emails and sending targeted communication to maximize conversions.
- Cultivate relationships with local high schools, international schools, educational agents, and representatives.
Marketing (and Social Media) Management
- Support KLU's growth goals by leading impactful marketing campaigns online and offline.
- Oversee marketing projects in collaboration with the KLU team, including Online Marketing Managers, Graphic Designers, and Student Recruitment colleagues.
- Act as a key project manager, focusing on specific study programs and ensuring alignment with KLU's broader marketing strategies.
- Develop, produce, and share content across social platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube and manage community engagement.
- Work on influencer strategies, building partnerships with student ambassadors and external influencers.
In your role you will be closely collaborating with KLU Saigon's local team, in particular with the Campus Director for Southeast Asia to define, track and achieve business development goals and align overall operations. At the same time you will work closely with KLU Student Recruitment and Marketing Teams in Hamburg Headquarters.
- Excellent People & Communication skills: You have excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of what moves young talents in Southeast Asia but also their parents and families. You know how to excite people and have the organizational abilities to pull of events and marketing campaigns. You are a communications allrounder feeling comfortable on social media platforms and in front of public audiences.
- Social Media Expertise: Active on social platforms, you know how to engage and grow a digital community. Proficient in capturing and editing media directly from a smartphone, including video production and sound editing.
- Creativity and Trend Awareness: You enjoy coming up with new content formats and approaches, creating posts, videos, and graphics independently. You have an eye for spotting trends and understanding what resonates with audiences.
- Digital Fluency: Comfortable in the digital world, with a knack for using online tools to streamline work.
- Language Skills: You have excellent English and Vietnamese language skills.
- Vietnamese Work Permit: You have the right to work in Vietnam.
- Passion for Learning & Education: You have a strong personal affinity and passion for learning and development; working experience in higher education is a plus.
- Operations Mindset: You're driven to initiate and own projects and processes with a proactive approach to working independently and developing creative solutions and initiatives, you feel comfortable to navigate dynamic environments.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- University degree in communication, marketing, event management or other related field or related fields.
- Experience in international higher education, sales, student recruitment, marketing agencies, start-up environments or related contexts.
