MEAG is part of Munich Re Group and one of the world's foremost asset managers.
- Leverage market contacts to originate infrastructure debt transactions in a range of sectors covering energy, transport, digital and social infrastructure sectors
- Structuring of bilateral transactions, extensive term sheet and contract negotiations on project finance, infrastructure acquisitions finance & corporate-style transactions
- Working in deal teams of two/three to actively execute transaction
- Managing internal and external counterparties, conducting and coordinating due diligence on transactions
- Presenting suitable transactions to MEAG's decision-makers
- Active expansion of the investment pipeline with a sector focus and assessment of its suitability for MEAG's various mandates
- Maintenance and active expansion of the network of contacts with German and international project sponsors, banks, financial advisors and institutional investors of MEAG
- Support management with horizontal initiatives, business planning and management initiatives
- We are considering candidate with 6 to 15+ years of professional experience in infrastructure/ project finance / leveraged buy-outs / asset-based lending
- Exposure to a range of infrastructure sectors in a front office environment, ideally in a bank or a debt advisor. For candidates with a specialised sector background, open-mindedness to work in a wide range of sectors in line with business needs is necessary
- Experience in sub-investment grade/sub-ordinated lending and/or leverage-finance /acquisition finance and/or energy sector would be an advantage
- Experience in sounding and responding to inbounds as well as experience in negotiation of term sheets and documentation. Ability to lead these processes is a plus
- Structuring and modelling experience in infrastructure finance is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills is a must
- Excellent English skills, sound knowledge of German/another foreign language desirable
International experience would be strongly advantageous - Existing contacts with German and European project sponsors, banks, financial advisors, etc.
