- Build and nurture strong relationships with trade and specialized media, industry and technical journalists and editors to secure coverage in key material handling and industrial automation publications
- Develop and distribute press releases related and ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information
- Provide corporate messages and PRs elaborated by the head of communication function to trade and specialized media
- Serve as the primary point of contact for trade and specialized media inquiries and coordinate interviews, press kits, and media engagements
- Represent the company in material handling associations and industry forums, fostering relationships that support lobbying efforts and thought leadership initiatives
- Become the coordinator of the company's content hub
- Work on the editorial calendar in coordination with the marketing team and the Head of Communication, ensuring consistent and strategic content planning.
- Develop high-quality, industry-specific content to reinforce the company's expertise.
- Coordinate closely with the Head of Communication to ensure alignment with the overall corporate messaging and brand strategy
- Track and report on the impact of PR activities
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or a related role, ideally within the B2B or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working with trade and specialized media and industry associations
- Very strong writing skills for press releases, articles and other PR materials
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, proficiency in another language is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in managing media tools and tracking media coverage
- Knowledge of the material handling and/or industrial automation industry is a strong plus
