For our office in Berlin Mitte we are looking for a
Solution Architect (m/f/d)
- Modernize and optimize banking platforms in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team
- Design and document architecture blueprints aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps
- Lead end-to-end design of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API-first solutions
- Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
- Evaluate and select third-party solutions to ensure alignment with our target architecture and business strategy
- Ensure solutions are flexible for future growth and technology integration
- Make key design decisions balancing business needs and technical feasibility
- Create and maintain clear architecture documentation
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of architectural solutions with development teams
- Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams
- Engage senior stakeholders to support technical solutions
- Set design principles and success criteria for platform development
- Provide guidance on architecture governance and design principles
- Collaborate with the UK Architecture community and local Enterprise Architects
- Educated to bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Several years in solution or enterprise architecture
- Experience with cloud-based banking platforms, microservices, API-first approaches, and security best practices
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to map business strategy to solution designs and technology roadmaps
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IT guidelines, policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
