The Position

The Corporate Legal/IP Law department is globally responsible for the defense and enforcement of Boehringer Ingelheim's intellectual property rights. As an Analyst for Anti-Counterfeiting & Online Brand Protection, you will provide a valuable contribution to Boehringer Ingelheim's fight against falsified products, be it on online marketplaces, social media, and websites.   • As analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and enforcing suspicious online offers (potential falsified products as well as trademark and copyright infringements) on all digital sales channels (especially online marketplaces (B2B/B2C), social media, and websites) worldwide.
  • You will process complaint procedures on online platforms.
  • Additionally, you will support the further expansion of Boehringer Ingelheim's Online Brand Protection program.
  • One of your key responsibilities will be the preparation and creation of clear, concise reports and data visualizations to effectively and accurately communicate threats, trends, and correlations. You will also identify strategically and economically relevant objectives for (possibly offline) law enforcement.
  • The organization and implementation of projects on new trends on online platforms will be in your hands.
  • You will work independently with internal and external databases for the detection, analysis, and processing of suspected counterfeit cases and possible IP infringements.

  • Bachelor's degree, e.g. in Business Studies
  • Practical experience in the field of Anti-Counterfeiting and Online Brand Protection (e.g. with one of the relevant service providers or in a law firm)
  • Experience in creating dashboards / visualizations as well as the ability to effectively convey complex information
  • Knowledge in the field of e-Retail / Branding is advantageous
  • High degree of analytical skills and organizational talent
  • Self-responsibility, innovative spirit, and creativity
  • Integrity and the highest level of confidentiality
  • Business fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial
