ELG Utica Alloys is a business unit of the ELG Group. Here, Titanium, Nickel- and Cobalt-base secondary raw materials are professionally recycled: sorted, sized, cleaned, precisely analysed and certified to the individual requirements of our customers. On request, ELG Utica Alloys also offers its customers, mainly companies out of the aerospace industry processing services and revert management within a global closed-loop cycle.

For our German Utica Headquarter, we are looking for a

Lean Manager

to start at the location in Duisburg on the earliest possible date.


  • Defining and implementing global initiatives to increase productivity, strengthen occupational safety, reduce costs and improve quality
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement with customer orientation and a focus on cost minimization
  • Continuous analysis of operational processes and elimination of all non-value-added activities
  • Definition of optimization goals and strategy including relevant KPIs
  • Employee communication and training

  • Qualification in business administration, e.g. process or value-added management
  • At least 5-8 years of professional experience in an international environment
  • Sound knowledge of lean principles, methods and tools such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, Kanban, DMAIC and CIP
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or similar) is an advantage
  • Experience with operational leadership preferred
  • Business fluent in English
  • Logical and analytical thinking
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • High ability to work in a team
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Up to 50% willingness to travel
  • Experienced with MS D365
  • Experienced with Office applications and process-relevant IT solutions
  • Reports directly to CEO, close cooperation with global quality and process management
