- Participate in the Supplier / Material selection of new and alternate packaging materials (primary and secondary). Evaluate suppliers from a Quality Assurance perspective.
- Support the qualification of global packaging Suppliers and Materials. Coordinate closely with involved I&Ds, production sites and Sourcing Managers to select the best fit for Fresenius Kabi.
- Establish quality agreements with suppliers and perform / attend quality audits to ensure Fresenius Kabi's requirements can be met.
- Coordinate the corporate supplier evaluation process, discuss performance with suppliers and define development measures if required.
- Support our Operation Units in quality complaints towards the supplier and monitor defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Review and follow up on supplier changes and events and foster information exchange within the Fresenius Kabi packaging network.
- Establish global purchasing specifications and drive harmonization of packaging materials within Fresenius Kabi.
- Creation and update of global standard operating procedures related to supplier management activities.
- Successfully completed university degree in (Packaging-) Engineering, natural science, in a technical field or comparable
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality or packaging related activity in pharmaceutical or medical industry with knowledge in packaging production techniques (e.g., glass production, label printing)
- Profound knowledge of GxP standards for packaging (e.g. ISO15378)
- Basic knowledge of regulatory registration procedures in Europe, US and China
- Good IT skills (MS Office, SharePoint, SAP)
- Business fluency in written and spoken English and German, with strong communication skills
- Self-organized and target-oriented working style, with a proactive and focused approach to achieving goals
- Open-minded team player with strong intercultural competencies and high intrinsic motivation
