As a Key Account Manager, you will take primary responsibility for managing and developing 5–10 strategically important customers in the medical technology, life science, and industrial sectors. With your background in biology, you will act as a competent interface between customers and internal departments. Your goal is to build long-term partnerships, develop innovative solutions, and drive business success.
Key Account Manager (m/w/d)
Sales / Marketing – 905 –
Location: Nördlingen or München, Bayern
- Customer Management: Build, maintain, and further develop long-term relationships with existing key accounts.
- Consulting and Sales: Advise customers on technical products and services, particularly in the medical technology and life science sectors.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement customer-specific strategies to increase revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contract Negotiations: Conduct price and contract negotiations in close collaboration with senior management.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Project Management: Coordinate internal and external projects to meet customer requirements effectively.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and forecasts to track revenue and goal achievement.
- Education: Degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a comparable field.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in key account management or a similar role, preferably in the medical technology or life science sectors.
- Expertise: Solid knowledge of products, applications, and technologies in medical technology and life science.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding customer communication abilities and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Capability for strategic planning and solving complex customer challenges.
- Languages: Fluent in both German and English.
- Willingness to Travel: High flexibility and readiness for regular customer visits.
