As the Manager of Logistics (f/m/x), you will lead logistics operations at the Cuxhaven plant and be an integral part of the management team. You will oversee the logistics and warehouse teams, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support production.
- Manage all logistics activities, including inbound, outbound, and internal material flow.
- Manage all supply management activities in the plant.
- Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) targets are met.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and achieve operational excellence around logistics.
- Oversee inventory levels to avoid disruptions while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Develop strategies to ensure on-time delivery of materials to production lines.
- Manage transportation and shipment schedules for components and finished goods.
- Drive digitalization and process automation in logistics.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Represent the plant and company in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of leadership experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of lean management principles and process improvement.
- Expertise in inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics software.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in logistics.
- Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.
