This role is within the Financial Risk Department and reports to Lead of the Credit Risk Control Unit. The Data Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of BCBS239 principles in line with the bank's data management framework. Within the Risk Team, we develop and maintain risk models used for capital and financial reporting purposes. Furthermore, the risk appetite is set and monitored by the team and used in regular decision making in the bank.

Data Manager - Credit Risk (m/f/d)
- Data Management Framework: Develop and implement a robust data management framework for risk models, including IRB and IFRS 9.
- Risk Reporting: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive risk reports to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-making.
- Data Remediation: Lead data remediation efforts to ensure data quality and integrity across all risk-related data sets.
- BCBS239 Compliance: Ensure compliance with BCBS239 requirements, maintaining high standards of data governance and risk management.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including risk managers, IT teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment and support for data management initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and risk reporting.
- Educated to a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or relevant professional certification
- Several years of experience in data management within a financial risk environment
- Proficiency in data management tools and software, such as SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of risk models (IRB, IFRS 9) and BCBS239 requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under pressure
