In our NIKE Retail stores, we use special job titles for our positions: a store manager is the "Head Coach", a deputy store manager is the "Assistant Head Coach", a department manager is a "Coach", a team leader is a "Lead" and sales employees are "Athletes".

As a coach, you will:
- Use your expertise in exclusive customer service and product knowledge to create a special brand experience for our buyers.
- Coordinate, coach and motivate the employees in your area and ensure an excellent working atmosphere.
- Support the management of the day-to-day business in your area to achieve sales goals (including digital services, visual merchandising, sales floor, advertising campaigns).
- Identify problems and create suitable solutions together with your Senior Store Leadership Team.
- You identify and improve areas based on customer feedback.
- Ensure that all NIKE standards and guidelines are adhered to.
- Be a Brand Ambassador for NIKE initiatives, including training your team.
To be precise, our store structure consists of the following 3 coach roles:
COMMERCIAL
- You lead a team that efficiently accepts items, manages the warehouse excellently and implements the standards for visual presentation exactly.
- You will ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and ensure that there are always enough items on the sales floor, that the space is presentable and that it meets brand standards.
- You will work with the Department Leads, who will oversee each area (incoming goods and visual presentation), while you will be responsible for the entire flow of goods in the store.
- Responsible for the launch of monthly initiatives.
- Using our reporting tools to make the best commercial decisions.
- Accurate inventory management to be able to deliver products ordered via app and online.
ATHLETE EXPERIENCE
- Ensuring that the team is best equipped to ensure a high-quality athlete experience (purpose).
- You'll motivate your team to get involved in Nike Community Ambassador activities.
- Work with your Senior Store Leadership Team, involved in hiring processes and onboarding new employees.
- You are responsible for the scheduling of the store.
- Working together with the store team to implement and maintain a positive NIKE culture.
CONSUMER EXPERIENCE
- Lead by example to guarantee excellent service on the sales floor and bring the consumer journey to life.
- Provide the resources to help the team gain knowledge about the NIKE brand, as well as consumer service and digital services.
- Complete specific training sessions and pass on knowledge of Athlete Services.
- Use data and analytics to gain deeper insights and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with the Senior Store Leadership Team
Was du mitbringst:
- The passion for NIKE and/or the love of sports
- Experience and expertise for outstanding customer service
- 4 years or more of retail experience
- 2 years or more experience as a team leader
- Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- You are well organized and can set priorities
- Proactivity, openness as well as motivation and the passion to always put our customers first
- Willingness to work weekends and shifts
