To secure and expand our success in the long term, we are looking for a
IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
for the IT department of MMC Hartmetall GmbH in Meerbusch as soon as possible.
- Administration, maintenance, and further development of the existing IT infrastructure (hardware and software), including servers, network devices, and cloud resources
- Setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of server/client hardware and proper documentation
- Installation, administration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 products
- Lifecycle management of user accounts, including onboarding and offboarding
- Implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure IT system integrity
- End-user support for all IT-related issues (hardware, software, and application errors)
- Collaboration with external service providers and partners
- Process optimization in compliance with MMC Group guidelines
- Education as a system administrator or an equivalent qualification and/or several years of professional experience in IT and the listed responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of network configuration (TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, etc.)
- Experience in supporting Windows Server operating systems using CLI or scripting
- Familiarity with MS Office, remote support tools, Active Directory, M365 admin center, and Intune is desirable
- Experience in designing LANs and creating network diagrams is an advantage
