As Area Sales Manager for Germany, Belgium and Netherlands, you will be responsible for driving the expansion of our Dust Collection and Aspiration (DCA) filters which among others involves:

Responsibilities as Area Sales Manager

  • Plans and executes sales activities to meet determined objectives within Germany, Netherlands and Belgium markets
  • Develops and retains key customer contacts to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Build long lasting relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities
  • Be a part of price negotiations and review of contracts
  • Participates in Fairs and Conferences in within specified geographical areas
  • Stay well informed about market trends in order to conduct assessments of long-term market needs
  • Implement strategies and growth plans for the individual markets
  • Collaborates closely with Product Managers on technical questions in sales processes as a foundation for the product offering which meets the clients' needs in a commercially relevant manner

Who are you?

Professionally:

  • You have a bachelor or a master in a relevant background
  • You have a technical foundation and have experience with conveying technical knowledge to customers
  • You have a commercial mindset and are used to working in a result driven environment
  • You have experience with international sales and developing new accounts from manufacturing and industrial companies
  • You have good communication and presentation skills
  • You are team focused, but can also work independently
  • It is an advantage that you have experience with sales in Germany, Belgium and Netherlands
  • It is an advantage, but not a requirement, to have experience with the filter industry and in industries related to Simatek business like Food & Dairy, Feed and Grain, Biomass or Recycling

Simatek A/S is an international company, with departments/sites in both Denmark, Germany and India and business partners and representatives globally.

They offer a very flexible work environment, where you can work in Essen and have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week. The onboarding will, however, also take place partly in Denmark.
