HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES Unique international opportunity - people / talent leadership for growth
Successful B2B services business with €70m+ revenues across technology, infrastructure and security domains. Experiencing internationalisation and transformation across European footprint of c. 450 people under ambitious new leadership. Positioned to grow thanks to pioneering bespoke solutions addressing evolving demand across large enterprise segments. Reporting to CEO, opportunity to apply broad-ranging and visionary HR skills across disciplines to set standards for the future in reputation-building talent leadership role. Key component in business transformation to become global player through high-performance, engaged workforce with Mittelstand underpinnings. Based at HQ in Swabian Alb / Baden-Württemberg, with hybrid working model.
- Reporting to CEO, set the people and talent agenda and tone. Drive step-change in performance and engagement through HR strategy and relentless execution across processes at all levels
- Establish international leadership development structure and capability, with best-in-class benchmarks and training / development programmes to attract and retain the best
- Balance and optimise HR disciplines, across resourcing, performance management, training, compensation, engagement. Drive culture change to international standards and expectations
- Shape harmonious internal relations. Accountable for positive Works Council dialogue at strategic and tactical levels, balancing stakeholder interests and client focus constructively
- Lead, develop and energise the team of 8 HR managers and administrators in Germany and across Europe, helping embed business- and growth-orientation and talent enablement
- Responsible for all talent initiatives / programmes across specialist communities to enhance agile, quality-oriented mindset which values diversity, inclusion and innovation
- Oversee business and HR transformation to drive effectiveness in market expansion, including introduction of compelling benefits proposition. Accountable for compliance at all levels
- Role to seal talent leadership reputation at international level as part of growth journey.
- 10+ years' experience as HR professional, 5+ years in HR leadership at divisional or main / supervisory board level, with evidence of applying full range of tools across HR disciplines
- Hands-on approach and appetite for detail, demonstrable record of building function and processes from the ground up. Evidence of successful strategy definition and detailed execution
- Demonstrable appetite to lead and transform a game-changing HR function end-to-end. Constructive Works Council track record in all dimensions, intimate knowledge of BetrVG
- Proven roll-out of talent engagement and performance enhancement structures across international footprint. Exposure to multiple B2B sectors, ideally in technology / security domain
- Extensive exposure to what good looks like in Mittelstand and/or multinational context. Direct knowledge of how to lead transition of a mid-sized business to international scale and scope
- Wide use and experience of HR platforms and organisational development methodologies. Fluent English and German speaker, ideally with another European language
- Accomplished communicator with agile mindset and client focus, outcome-oriented with natural authority; team motivator accustomed to accountability and full command of HR disciplines
- Graduate in technical discipline, ideally with business / psychology bias and interest in people. Curious, incisive, data-driven by nature, strong intellect, at home in international context.
