Our Risk Management team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!
- Identify, analyze and manage credit risk arising across the cross-commodities counterparty portfolio of the Uniper Group
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of credit portfolio movements, develop forecasts, stress testing and identify key drivers
- Provide insight into credit risk best practice, managing the credit cost framework and other credit risk steering metrics like, CVA, CVaR and PFE
- Manage credit desk analytic tools and present the status of the credit risk portfolios to senior management and trading functions across the organization
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with commodity trading desks and provide recommendations to optimize current portfolio
- Support projects, develop and improvements of credit risks models and Credit Risk Systems
- University degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field
- 5 plus years of experience ideally in an energy trading companies or bank, as credit risk analyst or portfolio analyst.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience in quantitative risk methodologies (CVAR, CVA, PFE), stress testing, pricing credit risk
- Strong technical skills: proficiency in Excel, analytical tools, VBA, SQL and Python programming.
- Strong team player with experience of working in an international and multicultural team, with the ability to cultivate strong positive working relationships
- Ability to work independently, form own judgment/opinions, provide insights and drive change
- Strong team player with the ability to establish solid inter-departmental relationships
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with Senior Management
