Become part of the World Health Summit team in Berlin and shape the future of global health with top-class partners from around the world.

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and reliable new colleague to join the program department of the World Health Summit. The successful candidate (f/m/d) should be a team player with excellent communication skills in English and German, should have professional experience at an appropriate level, and completed their studies, ideally in global health or a related field.

About the World Health Summit:

The World Health Summit is the premier international platform for global health. It brings together stakeholders from politics, science, the private sector, and civil society from around the world to set the agenda for a healthier future and well-being for all. The World Health Summit strengthens exchange, stimulates innovative solutions to health challenges, fosters global health as a key political issue, and promotes the global health debate in the spirit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The World Health Summit is held each October in Berlin with around 3,000 participants on-site and more than 10,000 online. In addition, there are annual WHS Regional Meetings in different parts of the world as well as various formats throughout the year such as the WHS Global Health Dialogues.

The World Health Summit is organized and administered by the WHS Foundation GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

  • Communicate with individuals and organizations related to speaker and program-specific tasks
  • Create specific strategies for easier and more effective execution of the program, speaker management, and related projects
  • Assist with maintaining contacts with stakeholders who may be interested in investing/participating in the World Health Summit program
  • Support chairs/speakers and ensure that they adhere to program specifications and guidelines, including the World Health Summit code of conduct.
  • Keep records of all information related to program/speakers for documentation, clarification and presentation to management
  • Draft program proposal ideas and present them to the Program Director
  • Assist with fostering and organizing efficient communication with the World Health Summit network and the WHS Academic Alliance in the creation of the program

We are looking for an all-round versatile and reliable Program Assistant to handle a large spectrum of speaker and program-related responsibilities around the World Health Summit. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic team passionate about advancing global health.

  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English (B2/C1) and German (B2/C1)
  • Software Skills in Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) is a plus
  • Creative, strategic thinking, organizational, communication skills, and hands-on mentality
  • Diplomatic finesse and experience in dealing with national and international contacts in various sectors
  • Interest in the field of global health
