  • As a development engineer you will drive and control innovative technology developments for complex micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for inertial sensors and new business fields. Your responsibilities include the implementation of development goals as part of a team of specialists. At the core, you will develop wafer processes and equipment for high volume manufacturing of micromechanical products (conceptual and in clean room).
  • Moreover, you will utilize new semiconductor technologies, materials and equipment and perform both technical and economic evaluation of the feasibility of new processes.
  • Coordination of internal interfaces in development and manufacturing to develop new solutions and control their implementation from pre-development until product development will be in your area of responsibility.
  • Last but not least you will cooperate with research institutes on basic development and supplier on tool developments and manage quality assessments and process releases.

  • Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in engineering, physics, microsystem technology, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
  • Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience in research or development of innovative semiconductor and MEMS technology; very good knowledge of semiconductor technology and experience with manufacturing equipment including analytical methods; excellent understanding of physical and chemical principles and correlations; experienced in handling data analysis
  • Personality and Working Practice: proactive, motivated, autonomous, structured, systematic, responsible, team player, solution- and goal-oriented
  • Languages: very good in English and German written and spoken

*In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least 84.000 EUR for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements based on collective agreements) in the case of a comprehensive execution of job requirements. In addition, there is an individual, performance-related pay, a bonus based on the company's success, as well as employer benefits for the Bosch pension plan.
